Minimizing Noise with Four-Bar-Link-Structured Design

Design of Kimblade Wiper Blade

The tips of our blade designed with a four-bar-link structure are not crushed but are always in contact with the glass, intensifying the load downward to tightly wipe it off.
In addition, our blade is easily restored even after it hasn’t been used and has been pressed down for a long time. And the wide bottom surface changes directions with ease, minimizing the scraping noise when the wiper operates on the glass.

The tips of an inverted-triangle-shaped wiper become blunt, making the bottom surfaces wide that end up creating noise and scraping sounds.
In addition, the force disperses to decrease the wiping performance. And the blade gets bent and hardened, resulting in permanent deformation.

Thanks to the water-repellent substance applied to the silicon blade and the additional special coating on the blade, Kimblade wiper has a function of adding water repellent on the glass. If the wiper accidentally gets started for 2~3 minutes when the glass is not wet, the water repellent coating is automatically applied.

As such, you don’t need to purchase other water-repellent coating products, while being able to drive more safely even in pouring rain.

Increasing the Wiper Life thanks to Repeated Coating

Since Kimblade wiper contains water-repellent coating substances on its blade, the water repellent coating is applied again when operating the wiper for three minutes after clearing off dust and wiping off water on the glass if the wiping performance deteriorates while using Kimblade.

As Kimblade’s water-repellent coating substances come out directly from the blade, there is no adverse reaction between the water-repellent coating and the blade, minimizing the wiper scraping and noise problems arising from the use of previous water-repellent products.

There are various merits if a car wiper blade is made out of silicon materials. One thing for sure is that you can get soft movement, and the other one is that water-repellent coating can be constantly applied onto the glass.
We have used customized materials for the blade after dividing it into two parts: one is where soft movement is needed; and the other one is where the surface is directly in contact with the glass onto which water-repellent coating is directly applied for wiping performance.
